Take it to the streets

The American Comedy Co is proving that they will find a way to provide comedy during the pandemic, however they can. This week, the open mics moved to the sidewalk, where people wouldn’t be indoors, there was no service for food or drinks, lots of cleaning of the mics, and a set of chairs that the public could sit at and watch the beautiful delusions of the San Diego comics who won’t give up.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I’d go to these. The news showed up on the first night and I was unsure if I should go, both as a brand for my photos, and as a comic. But after one night of sitting out one of the few places that are holding open mics and the place that gave me the opportunity to capture small pieces of history, I couldn’t say no on the second night.
